About Stephanie Albertson:

Stephanie Albertson began making jewelry as a young girl in her native state, Florida. A lifelong love of vintage beads led her to create a line of art-to-wear and one-of-a-kind pieces that have been showcased in many jewelry galleries across the United States. In college, Stephanie studied music, fine art and art history, embarking on a career path that would combine her three loves – music, painting and jewelry design. Today, she balances her time between the three, but it is her jewelry that takes center stage.

In 1995, Stephanie began her career in fashion at Harper's Bazaar, where she spent five years working as the assistant to the magazine's renowned late editor-in-chief, Liz Tilberis. With Tilberis’ encouragement, Stephanie continued to follow her muse, making jewelry in her spare time, and honing her craft at The Jewelry Arts Institute in New York City. When friends and colleagues began coveting¬ and commissioning ¬ her pieces, a business was born.

Inspired by vibrant colors, luxurious textures and irresistible-to-the-touch materials, Albertson's designs combine her appreciation of the classical principles of jewelry making with a strong sense of elegant and timeless fashion. Stephanie hand crafts each piece in her collection using 22K gold, diamonds and colored gemstones. Because each piece is handmade, and each stone carefully chosen, no two pieces in the line will ever be exactly the same. Each piece in the collection is unique, with a personality and life of its own.

"My jewelry is about color and having fun. I love the whimsical, magical and expressive power of jewelry, and especially the notion that jewelry should be fun to wear.

Stephanie’s collection is entirely handcrafted in the United States and is currently distributed throughout the US, Bahamas, England and Mexico. Her work has been featured in many national and international consumer and trade publications, including Town & Country, W, Vogue, Elle, JCK, Instore and Indesign. She has also been featured in several Lark Books 500 Series publications. In 2008, Stephanie’s work was featured in the Forbes Gallery’s Designer Jewelry Showcase, a museum exhibition surveying the best of contemporary jewelry. In 2009, Stephanie was honored by the Fashion Group International as a Rising Star finalist. Stephanie’s work regularly featured at New York’s Museum of Arts & Design where she has an annual trunk show of her work each holiday season.
